The product was designed to be a consumable. I have seen the Paint Buddy… I have spoken with a number of people who have used it and the common complaint is that the sponge head dries up and the product becomes useless (it does not have a cap like ours). I have also heard it is messy to fill and re-fill. I am sure that it works for certain jobs, but for priming lumber and sealing decks, I believer we have the best product in the marketplace.
